my top 5 themes / strenghts

  • Empathy (empati, inlevelse)
  • Deliberative (reflekterande, rådgivande)
  • Strategic (strategisk, välplanerad, metodisk)
Generell info om de olika "kategorierna" som jag mappades i:

Adaptability
Shared Theme Description:
People who are especially talented in the Adaptability theme prefer to “go with the flow.” They tend to be “now” people who take things as they come and discover the future one day at a time.

Input
Shared Theme Description:
People who are especially talented in the Input theme have a craving to know more. Often they like to collect and archive all kinds of information.

Empathy
Shared Theme Description:
People who are especially talented in the Empathy theme can sense the feelings of other people by imagining themselves in others’ lives or others’ situations.

Deliberative
Shared Theme Description:
People who are especially talented in the Deliberative theme are best described by the serious care they take in making decisions or choices. They anticipate the obstacles.

Strategic
Shared Theme Description:
People who are especially talented in the Strategic theme create alternative ways to proceed. Faced with any given scenario, they can quickly spot the relevant patterns and issues.

Och lite mer specifikt om mig (i ett urval - samt några "ideas for action" för varje kategori):

Adaptability:

  • Perhaps you welcome changes in processes, plans, procedures, or the ways resources are allocated to groups or individuals.
  • You might be able to make some adjustments without becoming upset or causing others to become upset.
  • Driven by your talents, you might deal with the requests or problems of others as soon as you learn about them.
  • Because of your strengths, you are quite comfortable letting the day’s events and people’s demands determine what really deserves your attention.
  • It’s very likely that you may be the team member who is comfortable reacting to whatever happens as it happens.

Ideas for action:

  • Seek roles in which success depends on responding to constantly changing circumstances.
  • Avoid roles that demand structure and predictability. These roles will quickly frustrate you, make you feel inadequate, and stifle your independence.

Input:

  • Instinctively, you read to stimulate your mind, to broaden your perspective, and to explore familiar as well as unfamiliar subjects.
  • Reading is a solitary activity, which is one of the reasons why you like it so much.
  • You are quite comfortable being alone with your books and your thoughts.
  • Chances are good that you occasionally spend hours unraveling the mysteries of complicated procedures, routines, or systems. Perhaps your step-by-step descriptions help individuals understand how something operates. By nature, you try to collect straightforward and precise words.
  • Sometimes your enthusiasm for language causes you to expand your vocabulary.

Ideas for action:

  • Look for jobs in which you are charged with acquiring new information each day, such as teaching, research, or journalism. Devise a system to store and easily locate information.
  • Deliberately increase your vocabulary. Collect new words, and learn the meaning of each of them.

Empathy:

  • Because of your strengths, you usually choose to spend most of your time with adults instead of youngsters.
  • Your natural ability to tune in to what adults are thinking and feeling explains this preference.
  • Instinctively, you understand things about people that others often overlook.

Ideas for action:

  • Consider serving others as a confidante or mentor. Because trust is paramount to you, people are likely to feel comfortable approaching you with any need. Your discretion and desire to be genuinely helpful will be greatly valued.
  • Be aware that when your empathy turns to sympathy, others might see you as a “bleeding heart.”
  • Because you are observant of how others are feeling, you are likely to intuit what is about to happen before it becomes common knowledge. Although your intuitions may at times seem nothing more than ‘hunches’, take conscious note of them.

Deliberative:

  • It’s very likely that you are highly selective about how much you reveal to anyone about your history, future intentions, or current affairs.
  • Consistently you refrain from intruding on people’s privacy. Why? You realize this puts you in the position of being asked and expected to answer very personal questions.
  • Typically you let others begin conversations. This is not your forte — that is, strong point.
  • Perhaps you are content just to listen and observe. You probably prefer to keep your thoughts to yourself.

Ideas for action:

  • You have naturally good judgment, so consider work in which you can provide advice and counsel. You might be especially adept at legal work, crafting sound business deals, or ensuring compliance to regulations.
  • Don’t let anyone push you into revealing too much about yourself too soon. Check people out carefully before sharing confidential information. You naturally build friendships slowly, so take pride in your small circle of good friends.

Strategic:

  • By nature, you may be viewed by some people as an innovative and original thinker. Perhaps your ability to generate options causes others to see there is more than one way to attain an objective.
  • Now and then, you help certain individuals select the best alternative after having weighed the pros and cons in light of prevailing circumstances or available resources.
  • It’s very likely that you may have acquired expertise in specific areas. Occasionally you spend time considering several courses of action before choosing one.

Ideas for action:

  • You are likely to anticipate potential issues more easily than others. Though your awareness of possible danger might be viewed as negativity by some, you must share your insights if you are going to avoid these pitfalls.
  • Make sure that you are involved in the front end of new initiatives or enterprises.
  • Trust your intuitive insights as often as possible. Even though you might not be able to explain them rationally, your intuitions are created by a brain that instinctively anticipates and projects. Have confidence in these perceptions.
